Earntrix Review: Why You Should Be Cautious Before Joining
What Is Earntrix?
Earntrix is an online earning that promises "Everyone around the world to make real daily income using only their phones and internet". It claims its users are able to earn money by completing tasks such as surveys, watching videos, tapping their screens, streaming music, spins, and chatting with foreigners.
Earntrix also shows they offer loans to users but doesn't explain how this works. The CTA button instead redirects you to the same landing page.
The Earntrix brand is used by several websites available through domains earntrix.com, earn-trix.com, and earntrix1.com. All of them operate in Uganda and claim to have a global presence.

Is Earntrix Legit?
Pay to work model
Earntrix requires a one-time activation fee of $7.00 (or 19,000 UGX). Legitimate employers pay you for your time; they never ask you to pay them for the privilege of working.
Domain trust score
The domain Earntrix.com is very new. Scam Detector assigns Earntrix a trust score of 32.1/100. The domain was created on Friday 31st, October 2025 02:28 pm - barely a year old.
All the three Earntrix domains (earntrix.com, earn-trix.com, and earntrix1.com) are hosted on shared servers alongside other suspicious websites.
The website has a valid SSL certificate but this only means the connection is encrypted. Scammers can use free SSL certificates to appear secure.
Unrelated Graphics
Earntrix uses an unrelated hero image on its landing page. The image depicts a an e-commerce store page. There is also a carousel of companies completely unrelated to Earntrix including jQuery, Bootstrap, Google Maps, W3, Amazon.
The Earntrix team just quickly edited a theme and forgot to change the graphics.
Contact Details
Earntrix lacks enough contact details. The website only displays an email address (support@earntrix.com). There is no telephone or social media handles.
Location
The physical address provided by Earntrix is generic - Nairobi, Kenya. There is no street address, no building, no postal address.
Moreover, although Earntrix lists Kenya as their physical address, it heavily targets Uganda (mobile money, UGX pricing).
Unrealistic Earnings
Earntrix promises earnings of 20,000 – 60,000 UGX daily (FAQ section) for tasks like watching videos, clicking ads, and "chatting with foreigners." These figures are very high compared to the actual effort involved and the low value of the tasks.
The "Chat with Foreigners" earning option, in particular, is a known scam where users pay to chat with "foreigners" who are often bots.
Our Recommendation
Earntrix is likely a scam. Do not pay the activation fee - it's what the scam is targeting.
If you are looking for legitimate ways to earn online, focus on established freelance platforms or online investment schemes licensed and listed by the Capital Markets Authority of Uganda (CMA) and the Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority (URBRA).
